Saturday. 10 mile TT.

• Mindeman scorches the course for a respectable Sprinter’s TT. A few points garnished for the omnium in the process. Andy avoids the TT like the Black plague it is.

Sunday. 60 minutes + 3 laps. Cat 1/2/3.

• Windy. Regular cast of Chicagolandia cat 1/2/3 racers.

• Break attempts aplenty.  Mindeman and yet to be named new recruit cover attacks.

• 25 minutes remaining and Andy is glued to the wheel of breakaway artist Scott Pearson (The Bike Shop/Tin Fish).  Pearson attacks at a lull in the pace, per usual.  Andy follows like a remora attached to a shark, per usual.

• Pearson and Andy link up with Jeff Shroetlin (ABD) and Chris Mosora (Delta Faucet).  4 man de facto TT is engaged. 

• Mindeman BLOCKS.

• Minutes slowly tick down, but the 25 second gap holds.  Andy operates on a simple plan: Do. Not. Get. Dropped. From. Break.  Andy suffers much.  Some pulls measure but 10 meters long.

• Andy gets so tired he sprays water into his left ear instead of on top of his head.  Simple plan works, though, and breakaway holds the distance.

• Andy takes 4th on the day.   Mindeman sprints to 14th, having spent much energy helping Andy into the winning break.

• Teamwork.  Rawk.
